SDDC (Software Defined Data Centers)
Our datacenter is built grounds up as a SDDC with virtualisation and software layers that extend beyond the cloud compute, network and storage.
It provides extreme flexibility to transform architectural solutions through hybrid, private and public clouds.
Architectural solutions @Pi® SDDC are built with enterprise-class technologies from EMC, VMWare and IBM for a fully integrated, engineered, tested and validated offerings, helping customers accelerate transition to a Software-Defined Enterprise.
Core components @Pi® SDDC are :
- Network Virtualisation : Its achieved by splitting up the available bandwidth into channels, each of which is independent from the others, and each of which can be assigned to a particular server or device in real time.
- Storage Virtualisation : With pooling of physical storage from multiple network storage devices into logical single storage device, that is managed from a central console
- Server Virtualisation : Here the server resources, like identity of individual physical servers, processors, and operating systems are masked. This simplifies the task resource sharing and utilization, while maintaining the capacity to scale.
