Emerging Technologies to Disrupt Industries – Sunder Muthevi
In a recent interaction with VARINDIA – India’s frontline IT Magazine, Sunder Muthevi, Chief Technology Officer at Pi shared his thoughts about Emerging Technologies & Security Landscape.
While explaining how corporates should remain prepared for protecting themselves from potential threats, Sunder said, “The high adoption of IoT by corporates, forced enterprises to change existing IT architecture that in turn introduces new threats and enhances old ones. Organizations should identify authentication risks, establish identity assurance requirements and employ metrics. Organizations should develop enterprise wide data security governance programs by identifying data security policy gaps and seeking cyber insurance when appropriate. It is also critical for the enterprises to maintain the asset inventory details as the surveys conducted in the past proved that most of cyber-attacks are caused by insecure device available on their own network. Enterprises should define proactive approach to these vulnerabilities.”
